The Cyprus University of Technology is organizing the Final Event of the Horizon Project Gender-SMART. After four years of successful implementation, the Gender-SMART Project is reflecting and setting the next goals for a sustainable impact on the 1st of December, at the closing event named “Inclusive Future and Sustainable Impact”.
During the Event, the main achievements of the Project will be presented to the broader community of the University. A Keynote Speech will be offered by the Co-founder of Women on Top Greece, Stella Kasdagli, on the topic of “Equality Plans: The Sustainability of a Positive Change” – After creating an equity plan or the first step towards positive change, what processes and systems need to be put in place to ensure that good intentions are put into practice and goals are achieved? As organizations and companies realize the importance of gender mainstreaming in their operations, we explore what are the practical and measurable steps to help them implement, evaluate and help disseminate their efforts.
A round table discussion will follow, with the students of CUT taking the role of the panellists, sharing with the audience how they envision an inclusive future.
